10 Teachers Honored with the Best Teacher Award at INJAZ Kuwait's 'Battle of the Best' 2009 Competition
INJAZ Kuwait held its 'Battle of the Best' competition that included over 1,000 participating students. Held at the Salwa Al Sabah Ballroom in Salmiya, Kuwait, the one-day event attracted students from a wide range of public and private schools in Kuwait. Participating students were given the chance to set up their own companies and market their products under the guidance of volunteering teachers, industry experts and professionals. The interactive competition provided students with many opportunities to work and learn together.
INJAZ Kuwait also awarded ten of its teachers which participated with the 'Best Teacher Award.' Rana Kamshad, INJAZ Kuwait's CEO, stated, "We at INJAZ Kuwait wanted to show our appreciation to these ten passionate teachers who have really made a difference in their students' lives. They have invested large amounts of time, energy and effort into educating the students about multiple aspects of the business world." Kamshad also added that the 'Best Teacher Award' is a means to encourage other teachers to help in INJAZ Kuwait's future programs, "Not only do we value and recognize the knowledge and inspiration that teachers give to our students but we actually see it being realized by simply looking at the amount of successful business ventures that were accomplished by many of the young men and women at INJAZ Kuwait." Numerous teachers have aided INJAZ Kuwait's in many of its programs including Ourselves, Company Program and Job Shadow.
