Enduring Creative Persistence Displayed by Young Kuwait’s Students in Annual Injaz Kuwait Competition

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al Ahmad Al -Sabah The Prime Minister of Kuwait, and with the attendance of her Excellency, the Minister of Education, Dr. Mouthi Al-Homoud, INJAZ Kuwait concluded the fourth consecutive annual 'Battle of the Best' 2009 competition at Salwa Al Sabah on Saturday the 27th of June 2009, where hundreds of students gathered to compete for the top three winning spots.

The title of the Best INJAZ Kuwait Company for the year 2009 went to Made 'N Q8 from Abdullah Al-Rujaib School, meanwhile, Book Station from Al-Asma'ai High School came in second place and accordingly, the third place was presented to Safhatna from Al-Ru'ya Girls High School. These winners emerged as the top three out of 25 participating teams, who gathered around from different schools around Kuwait. Presenting before a panel of judges, these competing students had a chance to present strategic business plans and results of their companies. To guarantee a winning rank, company members had to demonstrate their understanding of the strategic business operations, while displaying sheer creativity and dedication to what they have to offer from products or services.

Al Kazi, Managing Director of Mutawa Al Kazi Co (Honda-Kuwait), Mr. Tarek Tubeileh, AMD-strategic planning & Corporate development of Global Logistics Services & Warehousing Co, Mr. Marzouq D Alghanim, Board Member of Streamlink Communications, and Mrs. Rasha A AlQenaei, VP & Head of Corporate & Institutional Unit Wealth Management of Global Investment House were all invited to this auspicious event to form the judging panel, due to their highly recognized professional experience within the business sector in Kuwait”.

Knowing that creativity and innovation are leading aspects of a thriving business, it was noted that the judging panel were highly keen on witnessing the various sides of proven originality within the different areas of running a company. Effective communication, team work, comprehension skills, problem solving abilities, client servicing, marketing, sales and product development, as well as the overall corporate structure and organization, were amongst the many prevailing issues that were also examined thoroughly by the judging panels.
