Many Leading companies in Kuwait participated in the Job Shadow Program which was a great success this year among students as well as the companies. Job Shadow Program takes INJAZ Kuwait students into the workplace to learn about careers. It is an academically motivating activity designed to give students the unique opportunity of an up-close look at the world of work and provide the answer to the commonly asked question, “Why do I have to learn this?” Students will “shadow” workplace mentors as they go through a normal day on the job. The program invited students to see firsthand how the skills learned in school relate to the workplace.

Following participation in the program, students were able to:

• Identify and demonstrate the work-readiness skills needed to research, get, and keep a job.
• Develop innovative personal strategies to achieve lifelong learning pursuits and career opportunities.
